Everything you need to know about IV therapy, IM injections, weight management, memberships, and booking at HYDROFUSE.
IV (intravenous) therapy delivers fluids, vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients directly into your bloodstream through a small IV catheter placed in your arm. Because it bypasses your digestive system entirely, nutrients reach your cells at 100% bioavailability — meaning your body actually uses everything it receives.
Oral supplements typically absorb at 20–50% under ideal conditions. IV therapy removes that ceiling and delivers therapeutic doses your gut could never achieve on its own.
Yes — when administered by licensed medical professionals in a clinical setting, IV therapy is very safe. At HYDROFUSE, every infusion is given by a licensed nurse under physician-approved protocols. We use sterile, pharmaceutical-grade ingredients from licensed suppliers.
Before your first session, we review your health history to confirm the service is appropriate for you. If you have kidney disease, heart conditions, or other conditions that affect fluid tolerance, please let us know during intake.
Most clients feel only a small pinch when the IV is placed — comparable to a routine blood draw. Once the needle is removed and the catheter is in place, you shouldn't feel anything except the cool sensation of fluid flowing. Our nurses are experienced and make placement as comfortable as possible.
If you're nervous about needles, just let us know when you arrive. We're used to it and we'll take extra care.
Most standard IV drips run 30–60 minutes depending on the formulation and volume. NAD+ infusions take longer — typically 1.5–3 hours depending on dose — because they're infused slowly to minimize discomfort. IM injections take about 5–10 minutes total including prep.
We recommend arriving 10 minutes before your appointment for a brief intake review on your first visit.
Hydrate. Drink water before you arrive — it makes vein access easier and faster. Being well-hydrated going in makes the whole process smoother for everyone.
Eat something light. You don't need to fast. A small meal beforehand prevents lightheadedness, especially for your first session.
Wear comfortable clothing with sleeves that can roll up easily above the elbow.
Most clients feel noticeably more energized, clearer-headed, and physically refreshed within a few hours. The effects build over the following 12–24 hours as your cells put the nutrients to work. Results vary by person, health status, and which drip you received.
A small number of first-time clients feel slightly tired immediately after — this is normal as your body processes a sudden influx of nutrients. It typically passes quickly.
It depends on your goals:
Our membership plans are built around the most common cadences so you always have sessions ready without paying full price each time.
IV therapy may not be appropriate if you have:
If you have any chronic conditions or are on prescription medications, please disclose this during intake. Our clinical team will confirm whether a service is appropriate for you or recommend a modified protocol.
IV drips deliver fluids and nutrients directly into your vein via a catheter. They can deliver larger volumes, take 30–60 minutes, and are ideal for full rehydration or multi-nutrient cocktails.
IM (intramuscular) injections deliver a small, concentrated dose into muscle tissue — typically the arm or glute — where it absorbs rapidly into the bloodstream. Sessions take under 10 minutes, making them the fastest way to get a targeted nutrient like B-12, B-Complex, or MIC+ on board.
We currently offer the following IM injections:
Most IM injections can be done weekly or bi-weekly depending on your goals and health status. B-12 shots, for example, are commonly done weekly for people with absorption issues or high energy demands. MIC+ for weight management is often done 1–2 times per week alongside a GLP-1 program.
Our clinical team will recommend a cadence during your initial intake based on what you're working toward.
Yes, and many clients do exactly that. Common combinations include pairing an IV drip with a Glutathione push at the end of the session, or getting a B-12 or MIC+ shot while you're already in for a drip. Just let us know at booking or when you check in and we'll schedule accordingly.
We offer two prescription-based GLP-1 weight management programs:
Both programs require a medical consultation before starting and are managed as ongoing programs — not one-time treatments.
Yes. Semaglutide and Tirzepatide are prescription medications. Our clinical team will conduct a consultation to review your health history, current medications, and goals before any prescription is issued. This is both a legal and safety requirement — it's also how we make sure the program is actually the right fit for you.
Semaglutide is a GLP-1 receptor agonist. It mimics a hormone that regulates appetite and blood sugar, reducing hunger and helping you eat less without the constant mental battle.
Tirzepatide activates both GLP-1 and GIP receptors — a dual mechanism that has shown stronger average weight loss results in clinical trials, but may also come with a slightly different side effect profile.
Which one is right for you depends on your health history, prior medication use, and specific goals. Your consultation will help determine that.
Appetite reduction is typically noticeable within the first 1–2 weeks. Measurable weight loss usually becomes visible by weeks 4–8 as the dose is titrated up. Most clients see significant progress by month 3.
Results depend on starting dose, consistency, and lifestyle factors. These programs work best when paired with regular physical activity and mindful eating habits.
Yes — and many clients do. MIC+ IM injections pair naturally with GLP-1 programs to support fat metabolism and liver function. B-12 and B-Complex shots help maintain energy levels during caloric restriction. IV hydration can also help manage early GLP-1 side effects like nausea.
Our GLP-1 membership plans already include MIC+ and B-12 shots as part of the monthly package for exactly this reason.
We offer four hydration membership tiers and two GLP-1 weight management plans:
No long-term contracts. Memberships are month-to-month and can be cancelled anytime. We just ask for reasonable notice before your next billing cycle.
Please ask us directly about rollover policy — this varies by membership tier and we want to give you the most accurate and current information. Email info@hydrofuse.co or call us and we'll walk you through it.
Memberships are issued per individual because they include health records, intake forms, and clinical documentation tied to one person. Family members would each need their own membership. Contact us at info@hydrofuse.co to ask about family or group pricing options.
Benefits start on Day 1 — the day you sign up. Your sessions are available immediately and discounts apply to your very first booking as a member.
Individual IV drip sessions are priced based on the formulation. IM injections start lower. Full pricing is listed on our IV Drips and IM Injections pages. Members save 10–25% depending on their plan tier.
For your first session, new patients receive 25% off with code TRY25.
Standard IV wellness therapy is generally not covered by health insurance, as it's classified as an elective wellness service rather than a medically necessary treatment. We are a cash-pay clinic.
However, depending on your plan, some HSA (Health Savings Account) or FSA (Flexible Spending Account) cards may be eligible for wellness services. Check with your plan administrator to confirm eligibility before your visit.
We accept HSA and FSA cards — eligibility for specific services depends on your individual plan. We recommend verifying with your plan administrator in advance. We can provide itemized receipts for reimbursement purposes if needed.
We accept all major credit cards, debit cards, HSA/FSA cards, and cash. Payment is collected at the time of service.
